- 8 oz corn tortilla chip rounds
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 tablespoon of taco seasoning or 1 packet
- 1 can of black beans or pinto beans 15.5 oz
- 2-3 c shredded cheddar cheese or monterey jack cheese
- ¼ c Cilantro chopped
- ¼ c red onions chopped
- 2 small avocados cubed
- 1 beefsteak tomato chopped
- Salsa & Sour Cream for serving
Pre-heat the oven to 400°F.
Heat a large skillet to medium-high heat, once pre-heated add the ground beef and taco seasoning.
Stir ground beef about 5-7 minutes and continue to cook until no longer pink.
While the beef is cooking, drain and rinse the beans and cut the cilantro, red onions, avocado and tomatoes.
On a sheet pan, spread out the corn tortilla chip rounds. Layer on the ground beef mixture, black beans and shredded cheese.
Bake the nachos for 5-7 minutes until the cheese has melted. Once the cheese has been melted, top the nachos with red onions, cilantro, tomatoes and avocado.
Serve the beef nachos with sour cream, salsa or your own pico de gallo and enjoy!
